Each provider would be evaluated under the same conditions: identical market exposure, real listings, and measurable KPIs. If the data demonstrated meaningful ROI, they would move forward. If not, they wouldn’t.

The Solution

The A/B test was structured to give clear visibility into performance differences. Listings in the test group were priced dynamically through Beyond’s platform, while control group listings maintained their existing pricing approach.
“Although Beyond was the highest-priced option, the performance of their platform fully justified the investment. No other company produced results anywhere close,” said Chadd.

The Results
The results were decisive. During the A/B test period, Beyond-priced listings achieved:
- +184% increase in bookings per listing (2.33 bookings per listing in the test group vs. 0.82 in the control group)
- +92% higher revenue per listing
- +133% increase in nights booked
The scale of improvement across bookings, revenue, and occupancy provided the clarity Aloha Rentals was looking for. What began as a cautious evaluation quickly became a straightforward business decision.
