The Challenge
As a small team, Holly needed an efficient way to manage pricing without adding headcount. She also wanted to reduce dependence on OTAs like Airbnb and VRBO by building up direct bookings, but lacked the resources to develop a marketing platform on her own. Additionally, she needed tools that would strengthen relationships with her selective group of homeowners through personalized service and data-driven results.

The Results

Within 90 days of launch, tahoemtproperties.com ranked #1 in Google organic search results for their brand keywords "Tahoe Mountain Properties." This gave Holly more control over her business policies, including cancellations and booking agreements.
"Our goal is to get away from being dependent on OTAs, giving us the chance to build up our actual direct marketing clientele and move away from being so dependent on Airbnb and VRBO," said Holly.
The platform has also become a valuable tool for owner relationships. "The owners like to see us using Beyond. I like to stress how customizable it is and how we can really get increased prices," Holly said.
