2024 wasn’t without its challenges. The short-term rental market faced headwinds, with many reporting drops in GBV (gross booking value) and broader U.S. trends showing a dip. Yet, Beyond users demonstrated remarkable resilience and recovery towards the end of the year.
While others struggled, Beyond users thrived. Our European hosts celebrated their best October on record, and North American customers achieved their highest GBV since 2021—outpacing the market by an incredible 16%! 🎉
What’s the secret to this success? It lies in the powerful tools and insights we’ve built to help hosts adapt and excel. Our refined automations, meticulous market reviews, enhanced data accuracy, and expert revenue management team are designed to capture seasonality and event-driven demand like never before. Together, these innovations empower our users to stay ahead of the curve and maximize revenue, even in a challenging market.
In October 2024, we launched Owner Insights, powered by Sage AI, designed to help property managers and hosts retain, grow, and impress key stakeholders. This game-changing solution provides the ability to generate summaries and share personalized performance reports—like occupancy, revenue per available night (RevPAN), and more—with owners and investors, keeping everyone aligned and informed.
We’ve expanded Search Powered Pricing to help property managers and hosts optimize their revenue strategies worldwide. This feature adjusts pricing dynamically to reflect guest preferences and market demand by analyzing real-time guest search trends and booking patterns. As we continue rolling it out to more regions, Search Powered Pricing empowers users to stay competitive and maximize revenue with smarter, data-driven pricing decisions.
We took pricing to the next level with solutions like Search Powered Insights for real-time guest search data on the listing and portfolio level, Revenue Goals to track performance against targets, and Auto Booking Review for smarter, faster decision-making. Early adopters have already seen an additional $5 million in revenue over six months.
We helped our users save even more time and increase more revenue during peak events with automated pricing updates based on real-time demand. Users have reported up to a 17% revenue increase during high-demand periods like holidays and festivals.
Our users now have a clearer picture of their portfolio with our enhanced Grid View. They can easily make bulk edits, adjust seasonal prices, and fine-tune settings with the intuitive Grid Sidebar. Plus, powerful features like performance filtering and YoY comparisons make smarter decisions faster.
Beyond users can gain a deeper understanding of where they stand in their markets with customizable columns, new filters, and flexible timeframes. They can analyze data like pricing, occupancy, reviews, and more from Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com. These insights can be used to make informed pricing adjustments and smarter investment decisions.
We added seven new metrics to Market Insights, giving you even deeper visibility into key trends like Average Cleaning Fees and Service Fees. Plus Market Insights can now be viewed directly from a listing in the pricing dashboard, making it easier to track performance against the market and adjust settings in one view.
We brought the latest tech in the Stays industry to cities across the U.S. Fifty attendees between four stops joined us to learn, network, and hear invaluable insights from expert speakers.
