Finding Her Path to Beyond
Filipa is based in Beyond’s Barcelona office and joined Beyond almost three years ago, back when the office was a small team of just four people. Filipa's journey with Beyond began when she discovered a job opportunity on LinkedIn. She quickly connected with a recruiter from Beyond, who made her feel valued and cared for throughout the hiring process.
Filipa’s decision to join Beyond was based on two significant factors. First, she was eager to stay in the tourism sector, which she enjoyed working in previously. Secondly, she wanted a company that valued the personal side of employees. Her interactions with Beyonders during the interview process reinforced the feeling that Beyond genuinely cared for its team members and exemplified its core values.
The Role of a Customer Success Manager
As a Customer Success Manager, Filipa primarily focuses on managing and helping customers, working closely with her fellow Beyonders to ensure retention and growth. Recently, she has been planning ahead each quarter, forecasting potential upgrades and churns, and distributing tasks within the team. Filipa also handles dedicated accounts, which involves deeper analysis, revenue management, and supporting customers’ unique needs.
Growing with Beyond
Filipa's growth journey at Beyond has been both rewarding and fulfilling. Since starting, she has been promoted! Filipa feels supported by her manager, who understands her career goals and helps her progress toward them. The flexibility and ownership she enjoys in her role allow her to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Beyond has also grown significantly since Filipa joined, its Barcelona office transitioning from a remote working setup to a bustling office with a large team. And since Beyond is a global company with offices and employees working across the globe, Filipa appreciates how Beyond adapted its processes to cater to various markets and languages, ensuring a seamless experience.
