Because Booking.com includes vacation rentals alongside hotels in its search results, many people who are just looking for a place to stay in general will be introduced to your property alongside the Hiltons and the Marriots of the world. If you've got a great place that's a better value with more space (like most vacation rentals!), they'll want to book your place even if they hadn't thought about a vacation rental when they started their search.
